The beginningHis legs were numb. Nearly frozen. The scarf he had around his mouth and nose had ice on it. His arms were stiff as well. Only his fingers were still more or less moveable. The man next to him was almost covered in snow and he was barely breathing.
This was supposed to be a very simple assassination, but a lack of information had turned it into a regular nightmare. The mission sounded very simple. Kill the first lieutenant. They didn't know why he was to be killed and they didn't need to know either. But their lack of information on the sergeant had caused a lot of chaos. The Joy was on the inside of the base, alone.
